Growing Into Confidence: My Path to Helping Women Feel Strong
By Corbinfit
My journey into coaching didn’t start from a place of confidence — it actually came from the complete opposite. For a long time, I was the girl who compared herself to everyone. I would look at other women in the fitness space and wish I could be more like them — more confident, more comfortable in my own skin, more sure of myself.

But the truth was, I didn’t feel any of those things.
Not at first.
Everything began to change when I started exercising properly and feeding my body in a way that made me feel good. Slowly, my body changed… but the biggest shift happened inside me. I started to feel stronger, lighter, more capable. My confidence grew in a way I’d never experienced before, and I realised how powerful it is when a woman feels truly connected to herself.
That feeling that, quiet confidence is what inspired me to create Corbinfit.
I wanted to help other women feel the same way.
I wanted them to know that they are worthy and capable, even on the days they don’t believe it.
“Everything began to change when I started exercising properly and feeding my body in a way that made me feel good.”
Strength and wellness, to me, aren’t about perfection or how someone looks. It’s about how you feel when you wake up in the morning. It’s the comfort in putting on your clothes and actually liking the person you see. It’s walking down the street and holding your head up, not because you think you’re perfect, but because you feel proud of who you are.
Confidence, for me, is that quiet knowing, that calm feeling inside that says, “I’m okay. I’m enough. I’m me.”
In my work, I try to empower women through both movement and mindset. Movement helps build strength, of course — but mindset is what allows women to really believe they deserve to feel good. I relate to my clients because I’ve been exactly where they are. I know what it feels like to doubt yourself, to not recognise the person in the mirror, or to feel like confidence is something other people have.
And I also know how it feels to come out the other side.
One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is that you don’t have to change everything at once. You don’t have to give up all the foods you love or be perfect every day. Real change takes time — and it’s allowed to.
I’ve learned to love myself through every season:

when I’ve been heavier…
pregnant…
postpartum…
or simply having a tough day.
There’s so much life to live, and none of us deserve to spend it feeling guilty or beating ourselves up. We can always make changes, always move forward, always grow — but we’re allowed to give ourselves grace along the way.
“I relate to my clients because I’ve been exactly where they are.”
That, more than anything, is what my journey has taught me.
And it’s the message I want to share with every woman I work with.
If you’d like to connect with me or begin your own strength journey, I’d love to hear from you.
