The Story
The story behind The Her Edit
The Her Edit was born from one of the most defining seasons of my life — a time where everything shifted at once. I was navigating new motherhood, healing from childbirth, building my career, and at the same time, facing a cancer diagnosis and undergoing chemotherapy. It was a season that asked more of me than I thought I could give — physically, emotionally, and mentally. “In that space, I realised how little room there was for women to be fully seen in the complexity of it all. Not just the wins, but the quiet battles. Not just the strength, but the softness. The grief, the rebuilding, the becoming.”
So I created The Her Edit — a space born from lived experience. A digital journal where women can hold all their identities at once, share their stories with honesty, and feel supported as they navigate life, motherhood, healing, ambition, and everything in between. Because The Her Edit was never just about content — it was about creating a home for women becoming, even in the hardest seasons of their lives. |
